Nomad Adventure is a travel blog built to record the adventures of two travellers who are on a year long journey driving through Africa in a 1991 Land Rover Defender called ‘Maggie’.
The clean, modern and contemporary design of the website allows the main visual focus to be on the stories and the many beautiful photographs. Because internet access cannot always be guaranteed, new posts are written and stored on a laptop whilst on the move, and are then seamlessly updated to the website whenever there is WIFI internet access, usually in the larger towns and cities.
The website has been hooked up with the Lonely Planet network to share stories, information, to make contacts, and to communicate with other travellers in Africa.
A subscription service was added to notify friends and family whenever a new story is added.
